Aterion has acquired Verkonrakentaja Wire, one of Finland’s oldest network infrastructure companies, marking its entry into the Finnish market.

Aterion has acquired Verkonrakentaja Wire, one of Finland’s oldest network infrastructure companies, marking its entry into the Finnish market. This acquisition adds new capabilities in power and other critical infrastructure network construction and represents a foundational step in creating a Nordic power-industry group with a comprehensive service offering to grid owners and professional customers.

With headquarters in Parola and operations across Finland, Verkonrakentaja Wire has more than three decades of experience as a reliable partner in the power and infra network sectors. The company is involved in all stages of network development, including design, project management, construction and installation, documentation, and follow-up inspections. Its customer base consists of energy network owners, telecom operators and private companies.
